Click and drag cards from your stock pile or your hand, and put them on building piles in a sequence up to 12. Be the first player to play all of your stock pile cards.

You have 5 cards in your hand at the start of each turn. They are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Above these cards are your discard piles. On the left of the cards in your hand is the stock pile. Your goal is to play all of the stock pile cards before your opponent plays all his or her cards. The number above the pile tells you how many cards you have left. In the middle of the screen you can see the building piles.

You need to make a building pile first. Building piles may only be started with a 1 card or a SKIP-BO card. Once a building pile is started, a new slot will become available. You can have up to 4 building piles.

After starting a building pile, you can add cards to the piles in a sequence up to 12 (e.g. 1, 2, 3 etc.). Add to building piles by playing cards from your hand, the discard pile, and your stock pile. SKIP-BO cards can be played as any number card.

If you can't play a card, end your turn by placing a card from your hand on a discard pile. You can have up to 4 discard piles, but only the top card on each pile can be played.

You can win several awards during the online version of this game. For example: use all the cards in your hands on a single turn, or get a 10x combo. You can make combos by using many cards in a row, without discarding a single card.

In between levels is a mini-game. Look for the SKIP-BO card in order to unlock a new deck of cards.
