Amp Fiddler
Joseph “Amp” Fiddler is a noted vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist and a coveted studio musician who played for acts such as Prince, The Brand New Heavies, the P-Funk All Stars and Primal Scream, among others. As Mr. Fiddler he released his debut solo offering “With Respect” in the year 1990 – with a little help from his brother and fellow P-Funk collaborator Thomas “Bubz” Fiddler. While it didn’t fare too well commercially, it did make the name Fiddler known to a wider audience. Further releases by the “Amp” included the funky modern soul album “Waltz of a Ghetto Fly” (2004).
