Cream

Cream formed in 1966 and consisted of Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. All three rose to superstar status during the short existence of Cream. Their debut album, the bluesy offering “Fresh Cream”, saw release in 1967. It became a hit and was followed by the same year’s psychedelic pop issue “Disraeli Gears”, which spawned the smash hit “Sunshine of Your Love”. Their 1968 double album “Wheels of Fire” consisted of both studio and live material. Eager to explore other formats, Cream broke up in 1968 – peacefully. 1969 saw the release of the posthumous album “Goodbye”.
