DJ Hell's tracks are like a cold slab of urban asphalt that runs through every neighborhood. He fuses a Germanic sense of Electro with Detroit's rigid futurism and House's lush, pulsating flow with Latin Lounge samples. Each track brings a fresh set of samples and influences, but he always maintains a keen sense of simplicity. He never weighs his tracks down with superfluous sounds or obvious crowd manipulations -- he only drops the elements necessary to form a perfect track. He works the dark against the light with tweaked-out synth lines and an ominous low-end against smooth programming that goes down like honey.
