Firefall formed in 1975 in Boulder, Colorado. The American country-rock band released an album a year for eight years before disbanding in 1983. Their first three albums were their biggest hits. Their self-titled debut and the sophomore album "Luna Sea" went gold. "Elan", LP number three, went platinum. In 1999 and 2001 further albums (including a live recording) were released highlighting the group's classic sound and lasting pop accessability. Band members were Rick Roberts (frontman and songwriter), Michael Clarke, Mark Andes, Jock Bartley, Larry Burnett, and David Muse.
