In 2001 Swedish media star Laila Bagge was looking for partners for a girl band she wanted to form, and found Rosanna, Faye, Greta, and Anais to make up Play. A year later famous producers Rick Wake (Anastacia) and Evand Rogers (Christina Aguilera) took the fresh born quintet under their wing. Their debut was released and just like the accompanying debut single "Us Against The World" it became a big hit, although being only 24 minutes long. Its successor "Replay" from 2003 saw the band looking for a new, more serious, yet sexy R&B image.
