U-Ziq
The electronic music act U-Ziq (sometimes also Mu-Ziq, always pronounced “mu-sic”) alias Michael Paradinas has been noted for what has been called “intelligent dance music”. Paradinas grew up in London, England and started playing in local bands in the early eighties. U-Ziq’s debut album, “Tango N’ Vectif”, has been called a collection of “ambient scapes and crunchy bangers” by someone. Later full-length releases included the albums “In Pine Effect” (1995), “Lunatic Harness” (1997) and “Royal Astronomy” (1999), which featured live strings and less out-there sonic effects.
