UFO
British rock band UFO was formed in 1968 by vocalist Phil Mogg, guitarist Mick Bolton, bassist Pete Way and drummer Andy Parker. In 1971 the band debuted with the LP “UFO 1” and its follow-up “UFO 2 – Flying” with not much success in England. They proved to be extremely popular, however, in Japan, where they released “UFO Lands in Tokyo – Live”, in 1972. With constant changes in their line-up, the group’s most successful releases included “Phenomenon” and “No Heavy Petting” with Scorpions member Michael Schenker. The band parted ways in 1985.
