Flying the GB flag, the extremely talented Kate Winslet’s dreams are all coming true so far this year. She won Best Supporting Actress for ‘The Reader‘ at The Critics Choice Awards, then got a double-whammy at the Golden Globes, bringing home the gold in both ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama’ for Revolutionary Road and ‘Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role’ for The Reader.
Now then, is it naughty to say we secretly loved the fact that, in her speech she completely forgot about Angelina Jolie? It’s not that we don’t rate Miss Jolie, without a doubt she is a brilliant and graceful actress, we just love how British women all turn into blubbering Bridget Jones’ when overwhelmed with emotion and adrenaline!
